Auli in winter 2020 is an exhilarating experience if extreme cold and lots of snow don’t bog down your spirits. Auli is the fairytale destination that no one wants to miss. Himalyas all around covered with snow, beautiful sunrise/sunset and the unforgetable full moon night, PHEW!! So much to experience in this one place.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: NOVEMBER TO MARCH 

Till march you will gonna experience heavy snowfalls, weather below -6 Degrees celcius and lots of fun. Although The weather in Auli remains cool throughout the year and the temperature does not cross 20 degrees Celsius but in winters it's best time to indulge in skiing as the magic unfolds in these months of the year.

The Journey from urban cities to Auli will give you a mesmerising experience through out your whole travel Via Bus or car. The clouds and the mountain will never going to leave you alone. lakes, Rural areas and people of Uttarakhand will make you fall in love with them. How to reach Auli:

Reaching Auli is kind of Associate in Nursing journey in itself. The place doesn't have a motor property as a result of the snow and also the mountains. the closest aerodrome is Jolly Grant at Dehradun whereas the nearest railheads are Haridwar and Dehradun . Haridwar is 275 kilometer from Joshimath. Joshimath is that the base for reaching Auli, you'll either take a bus (INR 320 per person) or a shared cab (INR 500) from Haridwar train station. These services are out there from 4 am to 7 am and there's no bus afterward. Or simply you can drive to the mountains by self.

Where To stay?

The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam has its own resort hotel in Auli. The resort offers each luxury and reasonable stays and could be a sensible choose once visiting Auli in winter. The resort conjointly organises Trips and provides ski trainings.
